RE-PLATING

Allegra Allure jewellery is expertly crafted out of quality materials and thick plating that stands the test of time, however, it is inevitable that the plating on your jewellery (just like any other plated or vermeil jewellery) will wear off or fade over time. This is a natural part of the wear and tear process and is not a fault. Generally, rings will require re-plating sooner than other items, as they come into contact with other surfaces the most (and also most of us aren't that good at removing our rings when we wash our hands!), creating heavier wear. 

 There are things you can do to significantly prolong the lifespan of your plating (read our care guide here), but when the time comes to give your jewellery a face lift, we can restore it and give it back its original luster for a small fee.
